YOUTUBE CHANNEL

I've started making youtube videos. I'm definatly about 5 years late on this one. Hello, 21st century! I've done a few already and I really quite enjoy it. It's a fantastic outlet for me as well as great practice for on camera and editing. You may or may not know this but I go to school for Radio & Television so it's become second nature to try and get in as much practice talking on camera, writing, or editing!

My youtube channel is very diverse. I love to travel, bake, do-it-myself, shop, decorate my home, put together outfits, and I have a passion for music. Having this place where I can share my passions in life and incorporate it with what I plan to do for work is such a thrill! Imagine doing what you love for a career? What a world we live in.

I encourage you to take a peeksipoo at my videos!

My first video on the channel! Tips and Tricks for OSHEAGA Music Festival in Montreal!

Here's my playlist of the moment!

and my latest is a DIY for ya! Who doesn't love jean shorts! Especially mom jean shorts!

Hope ya enjoy! Let me know in the comment section what video you liked best. Head over to youtube and subscribe if you want to see more!

XOXO

Podcamp Halifax & Me

I went to Podcamp Halifax all by myself. My boyfriend was on duty (that's military talk for working for 24 hours straight) or else he definatly would have been my date.
I learned SO much. I made my first VLOG to show you what I learned and what speakers I saw.

If you're in the area next year, come out! It was so neat to see all the most creative minds under one roof!

Hoodie Allen

In LOVE with the Hoodie. He's amazing. I first heard of him through Jake and Amir videos! He tweeted me back on twitter which scores pretty high in my books. Enjoy a tune by the Hoodster. See what I did there? We are totally bffs now so I can call him hoodster...

Movember

Merry Movember! I've raised a total of $45 from Family and Friends. As well I sold little mustaches on sticks.

Thursday, 1 September 2011

Welcome to September! It's going to be a hot one, I'm thinkin'! A long with September comes BACK TO SCHOOL. My favorite time of the year! AND this year I am going back to school for Radio and Television Arts! Very excited. So I've been back to school shopping and I have a list of my MUST HAVES:

Striped blue and white Sperry Topsiders! I love Sperry's.
Hair feathers, feather earrings, feather anythings!
Stick-on nail polish! But be careful, once you open the package you have to use them all. They dry up! I ruined mine from sephora but they are still useable to some clear polish!

My Sephora Birthday!

So I have been far from my home of Halifax visiting my family/friends/original home in beautiful Victoria British Columbia. It's been such a lovely time. I couldn't have imagined it any different. Three weeks is a long time to spend but it's been excellent. I've done everything and seen everyone I've been missing.

My Mom decided that it would be a great idea to celebrate my birthday together while I am home. My Mom LOVES birthdays, Christmas, and any other excuse to give presents, decorate, and eat sweets! So today Momzie and I headed downtown and spent a whole LOT of time in SEPHORA testing and smelling! So once I was done looking away my Mom asked me to leave and wait for her outside. She emerged with a GIANT SEPHORA BAG. All I knew she was going to buy was some mascara for himself!

We went for Lunch at Milestones down on the waterfront and she gave me a card with a Sephora Rewards card!!! She didn't want to bring the bag into the store and pack it around while we were downtown. Funny girl. When we got home she let me open the big back of tricks and I almost threw up my lunch! Not actually... but I was so ecstatic!

When I opened the bag, I found THIS:

The BEAUTIFUL Sephora Set for Summer $135 value for $49!
It's a great opportunity to test out nine different products that Sephora carries and are popular. The set includes 0.07 oz full-size Sephora Collection Mono Eyeshadow in Choco Excess 19 (dark chocolate with silver glitter) 0.13 oz Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in Dusk
0.08 oz Too Faced Mini Peach Leopard Brightening & Perfecting Bronzer
0.125 oz Sephora by OPI nail colour in I'm Wired (opaque electric coral red)
0.08 oz Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment (sheer berry rose in pink case)
0.18 oz Guerlain L'Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold Make-Up Base
0.10 oz Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes! Mascara in Black
0.34 oz Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Make-Up Setting Spray
0.20 oz full-size Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss in Pop (cool pink)
Sephora signature makeup bag in coral pink!

I am going to be using this set for the rest of the summer and well into the fall. I like to hold on to summer as long  as possible. Especially when I live in a place where I wear boots and parkas for majority of the months out of a given year!

I Can't WAIT to use everything tomorrow. It's all so gorgeous and yummy and smells amazing and is perfect and I love it. I'm in love. SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I love SEPHORA!
